A college is an educational institution that provides higher education or specialized training.

while

A collage is a piece of art in which pieces of different materials like photographs and fabric are pasted on to a background of some sort.

COLLEGE

1.   Her brother was in college when they got the news about their father’s transfer.

2.   After he completed his college, he decided to do a professional course in journalism.

 COLLAGE

1. She used pieces of her daughter’s favourite tee shirts to make a collage.

3. He made a collage of all the old photographs he had with him and gave it to his friend when he left town.

4. His friend loved the collage and said he would treasure it forever.
